Seeing Our World Part II: Cultural Tidbits

Evidently free bread was to be had the day we were down in Ulus. All the village women were frantically running to a bread truck and filling their bags.
Firstborn had her "red envelope" money and decided she wanted a scarf. It was only 5TL (about US$3.50). The price for the saleslady to tie it in her hair and make her feel like a million? Free.
