Cappadocian Travelogue: Arriving and Dinner Out

We were happy to greet Hassan Bey. This renovated cave was once his childhood home. He has so many interesting things to share about life in this region. We learned that up until about 20 years ago, almost every family had a horse or a couple of mules for getting around. Some things have changed for the better, he said, but he misses the old ways and felt people were happier when they had less.
We went into town and found a little pide place. That's the Turkish equivalent to pizza. It's like pizza with no tomato sauce.
CC said not to bring the stroller on our trip. He'd take care of BB. I think BB got a great view up there.

This is a test. Can you imagine growing up in a cave home?? Definitely, wow.
