Weekend in Istanbul Part III

We took one day out to go to the European side. There's so much to see there, but we decided to go the famous Grand Bazaar. There's so much there, it's hard to take it all in.

We had one man ask us if we'd like to buy/ride on one of his magic carpets. Uh, no. Thanks.

One vendor was totally honest. As we walked by, he pleaded the truth, "I need your money."

My friend bought a little mosaic light fixture, but other than that, we left with just visions of beauty, but no shopping bags.

Here we are loading back up on our ferry to get to the Asian side.
