Glorious Day Part II

There was just something so refreshing about seeing the variety of colors.

I'll admit, I dressed my kids in fall hues on purpose. I knew there would be some good photo-taking spots.

Don't you wonder why people in Turkey don't live in rural areas more? Or maybe they do . . .

That was one thing Kathleen loved about France (one out of a hundred million things) . . The rural areas. She lived in a rural little town on the coast. No foreign tourists, just the locals enjoying the beach. She had to avoid the "naturalists" and their area of the beach, but she still loved it.

Kathleen said the French are much more conservative in dress than Americans but more open about nudity. Is that an oxymoron?

In spite of all those things, Kathleen was enchanted with a way of life hundreds of years old. Did you know there was only one dairy they could visit even though many others made cheese also? Only one was modern enough to allow visitors without compromising health standards.

Now, Turkey sounds like that also . . . charming in its own way and very rich with history.
