For those of you who follow this blog, you know that Perma-Baby had an unfortunate "clip moving" day at school this past week. That means her little clothes pin with her name on it got moved from the smiley face, to the not-so-smiley face. Last night she suddenly had something important to share with everyone, just as we sat down for Bible story. "Guess WHAT!!!! My teacher changed her MIND!!!" We replied, "About what?" She said, "She moved my clip back to the smiley!!" Apparently, PB thought once her clip was moved to the not-so-smiley face, it would never be moved back. We had a good laugh and explained she got a fresh start each day. Then I reflected how glad I am to get a fresh start each day, aren't you?Campbells

New Mercies Every Morning

I've never commented before, but I really enjoy reading your blog, Sara. This entry made me smile so much since the subject of "staying on green" vs. moving to yellow or heaven forbid RED is the first thing we talk about when my two girls get home from school every day. They are in kindergarten and first grade. I also enjoy reading about Turkey since Lance and I have both been on mission trips with our Church there, separately. We both fell in love with the country and most especially the people. And I fell in love with the food, too. Although that's not saying much for me as I have yet to meet a country's food that I don't love. Thanks for writing such entertaining and inspiring posts!
