Istanbul Instances: Sunday Afternoon

After church, we headed back through the streets. Big Ben wanted to hold Sweet Cheeks' hand.
Who wouldn't?
I love this picture. I increased the color intensity on it to make the reds redder and the blues bluer.

Sigh.

Firstborn has saved babysitting money and stopped to see what she might want to buy.

And like a dutiful little man, Big Ben sat and waited.

We saw all kinds of people. CC and I estimated that among the conversations we overheard, only about 1/2 were in Turkish. Istanbul is very international.

We took the kids back across the Galata Bridge. Big ferry boats came underneath. Big Ben waved to all the sea captains. They seemed to appreciate a little 3-year-old boy appreciating their job. They smiled, waved, and blew their big horns back at him. I also enjoyed watching Twinkle Toes enjoy her new birthday camera.

Oh my- our girls would be the best of friends! Our oldest wants a camera for Christmas, too. :)

How cute! I see personality all over Ben's face. The boy is just too cute!! I love his expressions and can just imagine what he must be like in person.

And the girls, they look so sweet. Love seeing them enjoy themselves. You certainly are training Ben right, bless his heart. He is learning at an early age how much time he will spend waiting on women! :)

Wonderful post.
