Isn't that neat? David and I were talking this morning . . . .

With God there is always something good! Not always sure what it is (ha), but you can count on it being there.

Yesterday was an especially hard day. Another day where I had to get "creative" with the cooking, meaning there was nothing in the pantry . . . . no milk, no sugar, no soft drinks, fruit juice, meat of any kind, etc.

But God in Heaven who feeds the birds, fed us well. When I served dinner last night, I was amazed at what I had fixed and how tasty it was. There was also plenty of it, enough for a bedtime snack!!

Only God could have done that. I know He did because I am no Julia Child. I ALWAYS have to have a recipe to go by.

Last night I was questioning why we were going through this and the principle in your friend Kelly's blog about praise kept coming back to me.

So today I am thankful for an empty refrigerator. Now it will get cleaned out!! Nothing bugs me more than a dirty refrigerator. :) I am thankful for a reduced income. It is causing us to stay out of debt and lower the debt we do have. It is helping my kids get money for college . . . . It is reminding me that money is not what is important in life. [smile]

By the way, did you hear about Kathleen's full ride to law school? Talk about God being creative! He is awesome. She could not have gone otherwise. Not only does it pay for normal tuition, it also pays for summer studies in Strasborg or Israel!

Thank you Lord for this day!

Hi Sara! I'd love for you to link my blog to yours...not sure what that means yet. I am not sure how to do a lot of things on this blogspot...I've had to have "tutoring" from some of my young friends that are so good at this. :) My email is ebeechem@embarqmail.com. I'd love to hear more about what you are doing. We're on spring break this week so it's great to have a break from teaching & getting up at 5:25 AM every morning! :) Looking forward to hearing more from you! Kim

I want to know if that picture from Singapore is in front of your house? If so, you gave up a lot more than warm weather! like grass to play on.
