Scotland Story: Art Museum

Our last two events were to visit two museums in Edinburgh. We were completely shocked at the Scottish National Gallery. We expected beautiful artwork, but we had no idea that Scotland held so many famous pieces.

Remembering that I would soon be teaching a non-fiction article that was a critique of this master to my 7th graders, I took a picture for them.

I can't begin to tell you how astounded we were to find things we'd seen in art books and studied in art classes.

And we had a little fun. This sculpture was called "Two Sisters." We re-enacted it with our 4 sisters.

And the Campbell Clansman found a Campbell ancestor in a painting. He is certain the resemblance is remarkable.
