Ending the Year 2016

We returned to so much snow! It was wonderful to have a few more days of down time before school would crank back up.

I tackled making Firstborn her t-shirt quilt, something I've been planning for years.

And one night, CC and I went out to dinner together and left the 5 kids. They had a gingerbread house making contest. We were to judge the winner when we returned.

Here were our options.

We had to laugh. I left a note saying this second one was "a close second."

And soon, it was time to start 2017 at the school. We had some beautiful sunrises as school began, as Turkey did not follow daylight saving time this year.

One such day we had a big snow. This is what a director's house looks like on a potential snow day.

Alas, we had school that day.
