We were blessed with some free tickets to the symphony. This is a spot in Ankara we've never been. CC loves to go to the symphony and arrive early to hear them tuning up their instruments.
They did a fantastic job. The night was devoted to Korean Culture, so they had some special solos with traditional Korean instruments. They were all amazing. However, at one point, I leaned over and whispered to CC that one instrument, when played alone, sounded a little like when Big Ben tries to strum CC's guitar. You know when you are not supposed to laugh, it makes it all the harder to stop thinking about it. That's pretty much what happened to CC. He's recovered now. This soloist also played a very old and traditional instrument. I thought her dress was beautiful, too.
And at the end, one talented Korean sang a traditional Turkish song, which thrilled the audience.
