The staff gave us a gift certificate to a very nice steakhouse called Butcha at the end of last school year. They were so generous...we had salad, meals, dessert. We realized we might not be able to spend it all, so we ordered an appetizer of smoked meats and cheeses, knowing it would keep well if we brought it home.
Last Sunday night, we put the kids to bed, then had dinner together with our leftover meat/cheese plate. I also threw in some triscuits (a gift from a friend...can't get those good crackers here) and iced coffees (from the leftover mug I made for breakfast before church and never had time to drink).
It was delicious and the company was even better.
