BB and I were at the park this week, enjoying this lingering summer weather. A Turkish mama with her 14 month old daughter came, too. We had a brief conversation, then she told me, "Please watch my baby. I have to go get something." A few minutes later she was back with a bag of snacks, drinks, etc. for her daughter. I like that people can trust each other in my neighborhood. She told me later her daughter had just swallowed a watch battery last week. I hope none of those rocks made it into her mouth while I was watching her!
And I didn't mind squeezing her cheeks and snapping her photo either.
