Big Ben found a set of goggles in my bag. Henceforth, in these posts, you will see them on his forehead. He ate with them, slept with them, panicked when they were not on his head. We aren't sure why. He got many chuckles in the dining hall. The girls kept asking me, "Why?" and I just said, "Because he can."
I liked this picture because it is such a mural of Turkish life. The home is on the right, laundry has been washed and hung out to dry. Chickens, goats, sheep were on the left. Mom and Auntie are preparing the daily gozleme on the big rounded griddle. The son is playing in the gozleme dough. It said more about "survival" to me than "manicured lawn" and I found it interesting. This was across the street from where we bought gasoline.

Gee whiz Sara, if your pictures get any better, don't know what we'll do. :)
Love these. Love Ben and Eva. Love the scene of turkish life. How marvelous that you all get to see and experience this for real.
National Geographic just might hunt you down. :)
Love you all-
