My co-worker (and last year's mentoring buddy) had her 25th birthday. A small group of us met to celebrate her with a bahce (garden) birthday breakfast before church. Our Turkish friend took us to a place I had NO idea existed. It's right in the heart of our city, buildings all around, but it's a little forest tea garden restaurant. It was lovely. Our tea was served on this.
Here is a picture of my breakfast. mmmm. I gobbled up the egg, fruit, olives, honey, and even the French fries. (Who can say no to the occasional French fry for breakfast?) I brought the gozleme home to a happy child.
We wandered through the forest back out into the city.
I will most definitely be back!
