A couple of Saturdays ago, the staff and staff kids met at the school and divided up into teams to compete in some staff olympics.
It was SO much fun! We came up with team names....like "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Yoga Pants" (because we were all wearing black yoga pants), and "Staff Infection." The kids were all split up among the teams.
Here's Big Ben rolling a soft ball with a street hockey stick.
We played a pass-the-hula-hoop-around-the-circle game. Miss Middler and Twinkle Toes, both camp winners at the hula hoop, showed their stuff.
Sweet Cheeks is the LEAST competitive child I have. She was on her papa's team. When he crossed the finish line, he had a slow-mo olympic run with arms waving wildly and a deep yell, "We WON! We WON!" Then he went to find Sweet Cheeks, who was happily plucking the astro turf, to tell her that their team had won.
A favorite was tug-of-war.
After the games, we all walked up to school and had ice cream sundaes. A super fun day with an awesome staff!
