Last Days of Summer

It's all out of order! But I have to include these pictures I just found. Our last lazy days of summer...

Driving out of the city, lying down on who knows what, looking for shooting stars...and seeing 2 of them.

 Last day before teacher inservice began....water park with friends, freezing water, lots of fun. (The heat from the sun does not remain in the water here....climate is dry so it does not hold the heat and is cold at night).

 Fun with friends. Miss Middler never meets a stranger.

 Sweet Cheeks took off and went down the "big kid" slides. She's growing up...

And all this hoopla made the week before school started and the beginning of school more hectic, but I wouldn't change a thing. What will my kids remember? That mom used her last day of summer to get ahead in her classroom or that she braved a freezing Turkish water park with them? How did you spend your last days of summer?
